OVEN:
Place nuts on cooking sheet or pan.
Cook for ten minutes at 350ºF.
Note: After a few minutes the nuts will begin to pop, when this happens move them around a bit every so often to prevent them from burning.
Adding Salt (Read before Beginning):
Get desired amount of salt, mix salt with nuts in bowl, add a small amount of water and Stir!
Getting the Perfect Taste:
Since everyone likes to roast them to a certain crispiness of their own taste, you should sample them every once in a while as they are roasting so that you get them exactly as you love them. Crunchy! or Lightly Roasted!

STORAGE and PRESERVING INSTRUCTIONS :
No matter the variety of Pine Nut or Piñon, as with any nut, in order to preserve there Freshness they must be stored properly. Because they are sold fresh and have moisture in them still they need to "breathe". For that reason, store them in a Dry and Cool location.
Some nuts such as the Nevada Soft Shell Pine Nuts are more fragile then others due to there large oil base. These nuts when stored in any type of air-tight or sealed container like a plastic bag, sealed can or a sealed plastic food container will gradually go sour, and eventually become moldy. This is something we can guarantee if they are Not Properly Cared For. Also, if you do not plan on eating them right away they will dry up and loose weight unless frozen.
FREEZING INSTRUCTIONS :
If you do not plan on eating your pine nuts immediately or within the first few days upon receiving them and if you wish to save them for several weeks or even months you can use these freezing instructions. These instructions will help to maintain the freshness of your Pine Nuts and Piñon for as long as you wish (we recommend no longer than 2 months, but truly they can be kept frozen for a much longer and maintain the freshness).
DIRECTIONS:
A
Put nuts in container that can be sealed (zip-loc bag recommended).
B
Fill bag or container with water and seal tightly (allow water to completely cover nuts).
C
Place bag or container in freezer (make sure water freezes completely).
Your All Set!
Now whenever you want to eat some you set the water and nuts out to melt and enjoy.
Note: Once the Pine Nuts / Piñon are defrosted they should be eaten or roasted within 3 days
